Vemula Groups designed and constructed the Information Centre in Airport Park — a welcoming visitor hub that combines interpretation, passenger services and integrated landscape to enhance the airport precinct.
Project overview
Vemula Groups was appointed as the contractor for the Information Centre at Airport Park, Kempegowda International Airport. The project included the construction of a low-profile pavilion building, interior fit-out for visitor information and displays, external plazas, accessible pathways, seating pockets and softscape integration.
Design & delivery approach
The Information Centre was developed to be legible, accessible and resilient. We balanced robust construction with thoughtful finishes — durable flooring, tactile wayfinding, integrated AV for interpretive displays and pergola structures that shade plaza seating while allowing sightlines through the park.

Technical notes
The project required careful coordination with airport security, site utilities and precinct circulation. Key technical responses included resilient floor finishes, accessible thresholds, integrated AV/IT systems for displays, and rainwater-friendly landscaping for the plaza.
