About the project

Vemula Groups designed and executed the landscape garden at the PRO (Public Relations Office) building on the NIMHANS campus, Bengaluru. As one of the first places visitors, patients and families arrive at, the PRO office needed an entrance that feels calm, dignified and welcoming. The result is a compact, beautifully layered garden that blends premium stonework with rich, healthy greenery.

Project description

The garden is framed by elegant raised planters clad in deep red granite and finished with polished black granite coping. These strong, clean lines give the space a premium, long-lasting character while defining a soft carpet of lush green lawn at its centre. Set against the stone-clad façade of the PRO building and a backdrop of tall royal palms, the garden feels both grand and peaceful.

Inside the planters, layers of planting bring the space to life — flowering ixora shrubs in red and white line the edges, bright ferns spill over the granite, a striking fan palm forms a natural centrepiece, and graceful variegated trees add height and a soft, light-filtered canopy. Together they create a garden that looks fresh in every season and offers a quiet, reassuring welcome to everyone who visits.
